The West Country Cruisers Annual Car Show is where horsepower meets heart. Each year, car lovers from across Alberta and beyond roll into Sundre for a bold, welcoming day packed with incredible vehicles, great people, and strong community spirit.
From classic muscle cars and vintage beauties to modern builds and custom rides, this show is open to all makes and models. But it is more than a show and shine. It is a full day of fun that also gives back, with proceeds and partnerships supporting meaningful local causes.
A Car Show Built by the Community
West Country Cruisers grew out of a simple idea: bring vehicle enthusiasts together and make Sundre a true cruise destination. Erin and Tom first helped organize the Sundre Car Show when it was hosted at the Museum. In 2021, the community momentum grew with Friday night meets at the Co-op and Sunday meets at Home Hardware. By 2022, the groups merged, and West Country Cruisers became a local hub for like-minded car people who love to connect, talk motors, and have a great time together.
In 2023, Erin and Tom officially took over organizing the car show. As the event continued to grow, it outgrew its original location and moved to the Sundre Rodeo Grounds, creating even more room for vehicles, vendors, and a bigger experience for everyone. Our long-term vision is to grow the Sundre Car Show into a full weekend celebration.
We are so grateful for the board members and team of volunteers that help us prepare for and organize the car show throughout the year. If we didn’t have the volunteers, the event would not be a success.
Giving Back Through Every Event
Community impact has always been part of the heart of this show. Past events have supported initiatives like the Plus One Food Bank Program, including a popular Fill-a-Truck campaign that helps ensure families in our region have access to essential food support.
The spirit of giving continues into the evening with our Drive-In Movie Night, proudly sponsored by Sundre Fountain Tire. At 10pm, settle in for The Blues Brothers with admission by donation, turning a fun night out into another way to support local causes.

Vehicle registration is $20
No ATM on site (bring cash for food trucks, raffles, vendors, and the concession during the drive-in movie)
